Grover has been a World Tree farmer in Alabama since 2018. He has created a great silvopasture environment – benefiting their cows and the trees at the same time – that should benefit them, their children and beyond. Grover is also an Assistant Professor of History and Political Science at Faulkner University.

Dr. Cathy Key oversees World Tree’s operations in 5 countries, and is a seasoned entrepreneur and educator. With a PhD in Anthropology, specializing in the economics of cooperation, Cathy was instrumental in designing the Eco-Tree investment program.

World Tree’s first Impact Report

2021 was a challenging year for so many in so many ways. Few can dispute we are seeing and feeling the effects of climate change in our own lives as well as witnessing its significant impacts worldwide.  

Yet, we’re moved, proud and inspired by the community of staff, farmers and investors at World Tree who have chosen hope and courage over despair and fear, and who have chosen action over resignation.    

This webinar is an acknowledgement of all the people that have made World Tree possible: the investors, farmers, nurseries, and staff – those who have put their heart, their sweat and their dollars into World Tree’s vision and World Tree’s projects on the ground.  Even fast-growing trees require ten years of care and patience before they generate significant financial returns. But, they produce real, tangible positive impacts from the day they are planted.
